Originally the residence of a provincial governor, this 17th-century moated castle is only 200 m east of the Emme. Streams also cross the magnificent 19th-century park. Of the period rooms with furniture and paintings dating from the 17th century, the most striking are the richly panelled Landshut Room, with its splendid carved sideboard, and the lovely Great Hall.
