The Bern Grand Prix is a racing festival and top-class spectacle both on and off the road. In 2007 about 21'859 competitors decided to take part in a race along the "10 most beautiful miles in the world". The biggest racing event in German Switzerland is both a competition for the elite, and a family attraction. The unique backdrop of this UNESCO World Heritage Site gives it a special appeal. Fans, friends and families congregate in the streets, and groups of musicians add to the atmosphere.
